Multiple Myeloma Diagnostic Testing
The FLC (Free Light Chain) Kappa & Lambda test evaluates plasma cell disorders by measuring imbalances in immunoglobulin light chains in the blood. It is useful for the early diagnosis and disease activity monitoring of monoclonal gammopathies such as multiple myeloma and primary amyloidosis. The Kappa/Lambda ratio serves as an important indicator for assessing clonal proliferation and treatment response.
